Nice Dress!

First of all, i wasn't referring to Jim Carrey's crazy act in swimsuit. Rather, the dress that his girlfriend is wearing in the pic!! so beautiful... i like the cutting, the color.. am so gonna get one for myself too! it would be perfect for my beach holiday! ;)

Anyways, am gonna spend the weekend working again. It's gonna be my last firewall upgrade for this year. Wish me luck.. Once am done with this firewall enhancement project, i promise will go for holiday and enjoy myself! nothing beats hanging out with my girls... cant wait to go to the beach - walking along the beach or reading my books while listening to Jason Marz's latest single - I Am Yours.. the melody is just nice for beach holiday.. i always feel like being in some island everytime listening to the song. told you, am a dreamer! ;)

Also my best friend, Linda will officially become someone's wife this Sunday. i cant say how happy i am for her.. hope i won't cry that day cos this is what i always wanted for her after both her parents passed away.

am sure its gonna a great weekend like always... and it will be more meaningful with linda's nikah ceremony and if my firewall upgrade goes smoothly as planned (since the servers are in India and I have to do it remotely). wish me luck...

and congrats Dot (thats what I call Linda) am so proud of you! you're finally gonna be walking down the aisle :)

But the bummer thing is that the tickets are not for sale. To obtain the tickets we need to purchase the selected Sony Ericsson Walkman phones - W350, W580 & W910 and will receive a pair of tickets for free. Hope they will change their mind though cos the phone is going to cost me RM650! :s

I finally got it...

Few weeks ago, I was surprised to receive an email from the receptionist, saying I received a parcel and asked me to get it from her. It was very unexpected. It turned out to be a book titled 'Dont be sad' written by a muslim author, 'Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarni.

On the first page of the book it says,

Specially to my dearest Naida,
Hope you find what you're looking for..

I was flattered that I cried. I cant believe that I have real friends out there who cares a great deal about me. It was really unexpected. I remembered she asked me for my office address and said she was gonna send me something before I left to the UK and since I wont be leaving until December, it never occurred to me it was from her.

Due to my busy schedule, I took me almost a month to finish the book. I love every bit of it and actually sad that i was gonna finish reading the book.. it inspired me and still is..

Taken from the book;

True indeed. It made me feel really bad actually.. what am I complaining, i have a nice bed to sleep on every night, a place to go home to, warm bread and hot drink, a job that i love, a supportive family and great friends around me.

So I finally got it ; happiness is a state of mind and always always be thankful for what you have.
